Ghana School feeding programme (GSFP) empowers Caterers and head cooks with Practical cooking training.

The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) has indeed rolled out a nationwide practical training programme for caterers and head cooks, the programme was held at Wassa Akropong "B" School Park, bringing together caterers and head cooks from Wassa Amenfi East, Wassa Amenfi Central, and Wassa Amenfi West for practical cooking training under the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP).
The training focuses on equipping caterers with hands-on skills in nutrition, hygiene, food safety, and best practices in meal preparation, using locally produced foodstuffs. This aims to improve the quality, safety, and nutritional value of meals served to school children. The programme is being implemented in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Ghana Education Service and the Women in Agricultural Development Directorate of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
